Kenneth Chang, US Citizen, was born in Guangzhou, China. Mr. Chang has long been committed to the development of the cultural and sports industry, with years of both domestic and international working experience within this field, especially the management and operation in various large-scale events and venues, including marketing, sponsorship, ticket sales, project management and implementation, developing and integrating industry resources.
From 2003 to 2005, Chang worked in another world top 500 enterprises, Clear Channel Entertainment (now renamed Live Nation Entertainment), serving as the China chief operating officer (COO), in charge of developing, implementing, and strategic planning in China. At the same time he held a concurrent post as the regional manager of NBA brokerage agency of SFX sports group in China. During his term, he devoted to the introduction of the latest foreign sports entertainment industry consultation into China, compromising the cultural differences of Eastern and Western cultural background, promoting the exchange and integration of Chinese and Western culture, which include the introduction of the two largest cultural joint venture projects between the Beijing Gehua Culture Group – CCE and Shanghai Oriental Pearl Group – CCE in 2004, Clear Channel Entertainment and Guangzhou Tianhe Sports Center signed a cooperation agreement through the effort of Chang, which lay the foundation for the development of Guangzhou sports and entertainment industry.
In 2011, Mr. Chang found the Dayu century culture Ltd. Co. in Beijing and through the cooperation with Gehua Cultural group, with the brand "liveticket" as a bridge to connect with local ticket house and provide ticketing services and other value-added services for customers. The company then got the chance to hold the Seventh World Strawberry Consortium Beijing, the first and the second Beijing Agricultural Carnival, the Hunan TV New Year's concerts, the CBA gaming Tigers basketball team home court events, Dongguan new century basketball team home court events and NBL Changsha Parklane home court events.
In 2016, Mr. Chang was appointed as the global Vice President of WESCO, responsible for WESCO's event execution and business in Asia. World Esports Consortium (WESCO) is an international non-profit organization based in Brazil. Its main objective is to organize international esports competitions and youth development programs to promote and continuously improve esports worldwide.
